TURNER ROAD RESIDENCE

Architectural Renderings by Armstead Feland V Company

The House

Designed to incorporate the owner’s fond childhood memories of a Brule River summer house, Northwoods vernacular, Shaker elements, and a nod to traditional Japanese architecture and building techniques. The main structure is a timber frame, wrapped in an extraordinarily airtight and super-insulated shell.

The Treehouse

This unique treehouse was designed by the masters at Nelson Treehouse and Supply and added to a lovely homestead’s woods on the Bayfield Peninsula. It is a fully insulated 200 square foot, 2-story treehouse complete with two turrets, a spiral staircase, a small bathroom, dining nook, kitchenette, and wrap-around covered deck. It is supported by and spans between 2 healthy red oak trees.
